COVID 19 Response Updates - Special Districts-Water and Wastewater Service Providers

Update March 27, 2020 @ 9:00 a.m. Water and Wastewater Service providers in the County have participated in a daily operational survey this week. ​Update-March 23, 2020 @ 3:30 p.m. The first daily operational survey sent out to water and wastewater service providers in the County.

Update-March 23, 2020 @ 9:39 a.m. The daily briefings with the County will start today at 11:00 am.  You should have received an email from the Office of Emergency Services with the call in information.

Update-March 21, 2020 @ 10:00 a.m. The daily briefings with the County will start on Monday. The time will be determined and you will receive  and email from the Office of Emergency Services with additional information.

​Update-March 20, 2020 @ 3:22pm. - OES staff will host a daily briefing at 10:00 AM for CSD’s and other interested parties.  I have given the liaison the email list provided from LAFCO.  If you do not receive an informational email, please contact them at EOC-Liaison@slolafco.com for call in information.

Update-March 20, 2020 @ 1:36 pm. - Solid Waste Haulers have confirmed that they will continue to provide curbside service.

Water & Wastewater Operations: Classified as essential workers.  Mark Chiaramonte from Public Works should have contacted you about Mutual Assistance during the COVID-19 response.  He is the County’s point of contact.

Solid Waste Service: Waste Connections has committed to continuing curbside collection and Cold Canyon Landfill will remain open.  Community cleanups will be cancelled.  The County is contacting other haulers for similar updates.
